Research indicates that when your brain receives happy news, it signals the release of two neurotransmitters into the central nervous system. These neurotransmitters are dopamine and serotonin, and when they flood your brain you feel the emotion happiness. Conversely, a lack of these neurotransmitters causes a feeling of sadness.
It's ok to be sad for a moment, but find what makes you happy and enjoy it.
